The Open Source and Free Software Foundation communities are producing truly excellent programs, every bit as useful as their proprietary counterparts, and typically at a fraction of the price. Freeware has come of age, even down to the support, also provided for free on many of the sponsoring web sites.
Unfortunately, not everyone has high-speed Internet access. To make this top-notch software available to those without the time or speed needed to download it, buyneatstuff is arranging to distribute some of these products on CD-ROM for a nominal charge.
