Pull in external data using the Data Pilot, and sort it, filter it, and produce subtotals and statistical analyses. Base - New to Version 2, Base enables you to manipulate database data seamlessly within OpenOffice.org. Create and modify tables, forms, queries, and reports, either using your own database or Base's own built-in HSQL database engine.

OpenOffice.org 2.4.1 is now available. The default font has been upgraded to DejaVu. Writer has improved text selection and new keyboard shortcuts for paragraph styles. Calc has streamlined the data and formula entry. Draw and Impress have improved PDF export capabilities. Base now supports Access 2007 data files.

Plus: It is only with 2.3 or greater that users can make full use of the community's growing extensions library.  Our CD version includes the Java Runtime Environment, for those who need it.

OpenOffice.org 2.4.1 fixes security vulnerabilites that have been found through internal security audits. Although there are currently no known exploits, we urge all users of OpenOffice.org to upgrade to the new version or install their vendor's patches accordingly.
